Fake Hate Waitress Fired

Statement Analysis showed deception.   Now, she has been terminated from her employment.  Note the donations of those lacking discernment.

Lesbian waitress in ‘anti-gay’ receipt flap fired

A New Jersey waitress who raked in thousands in donations after claiming a couple didn’t tip her because she’s gay was fired from her job on Saturday.
Dayna Morales, 22, was finally canned from Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater — nearly a month after she made national headlines over what’s likely a hoax.
The restaurant announced her termination on Facebook Saturday shortly after it was revealed she was returning donations from supporters across the world.
“In light of … recent events, both Ms. Morales and Gallop Asian Bistro have made a joint decision that Ms. Morales will no longer continue her employment at our restaurant,” the eatery wrote. “We wish her well in the future.”
The waitress, a former Marine, claimed the couple stiffed her on a $93.55 bill and left a note saying, “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle.”

The receipt allegedly said: “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I don’t agree with your lifestyle and how you live your life.”Photo: Facebook
But her tale of prejudice began to unravel after the unnamed diners came forward with receipts showing an $18 tip.
The purported incident created a media firestorm, with well-wishers sending Morales at least $3,000 in donations through a PayPal account. Morales claimed she’d send proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project, but the group said it hasn’t received anything.
Meanwhile some donors said their money was quietly returned over the weekend.
“I received a refund … for the donation I made to Dayna Morales,” Kate Dols posted on the “Have a Gay Day” Facebook page. “Glad to see she is doing the right thing … Dayna, you need help, please seek it.”
Acquaintances say Morales — who was dishonorably discharged from the military — has a history of fibbing and at one point pretended she had terminal cancer.
“She exaggerated every story,” former coworker Julie Howat told The Post. “I knew [the receipt] was fake. When the articles came out, everyone at my job laughed.”

MISSOULA, Mont. – A federal judge accepted a guilty plea Thursday from a Montana newlywed after she reached a surprise plea agreement and said she pushed her husband from a cliff in Glacier National Park.

The development came before a jury was set to begin considering the case against 22-year-old Jordan Graham.

In exchange for the plea to second-degree murder, prosecutors agreed to drop a first-degree murder charge and a count of making a false statement to authorities.

First-degree murder means a crime is premeditated.

Graham could face a maximum sentence of life in prison on March 27.

In accepting the plea, District Judge Donald Molloy told Graham to recount exactly what happened the night of July 7 when her husband Cody Johnson, 25, fell to his death in the park.

Graham said she told Johnson that she wasn't happy and wasn't feeling like she should after getting married. She said they argued and at one point he grabbed her by the arm. She said she brushed his hand away and pushed him, with one hand on his arm and one on his back.

"I wasn't thinking about where we were ... I just pushed," she told the judge.

She said she then drove back to Kalispell without calling for help because she was so afraid she did not know what to do.

Earlier in the day, defense attorneys wrapped up their case without testimony from Graham.

Instead, they showed the jurors pictures and videos of Graham smiling as she had her hair done and tried on her borrowed wedding dress, then videos of the June 29 wedding and the couple's first dance.

Those images attempted to chip away at the prosecution's image of Graham as a cold, dispassionate woman who didn't want to marry Johnson, and their contention that eight days later she led him to a dangerous precipice in the Montana park and deliberately pushed him to his death.

Elizabeth Shea, a musician whom Graham commissioned to write a song for the couple's first wedding dance, described Graham as quiet and standoffish -- until she was asked about her wedding.

"She would light up. She would smile," Shea testified.

Jurors also heard from Graham's longtime employer Sarah Bigelow. Graham was a nanny for Bigelow's two children for five years. Bigelow, who loaned Graham her wedding dress, said it was difficult for Graham to interact with people she didn't know, but her two children loved Graham.

"She was always on time. She always took care of them very well. They love her," Bigelow said.

Both the prosecution and defense rested their cases Thursday after three and a-half days of testimony. The plea agreement was reached before closing arguments took place.

Johnson was reported missing on July 8. Graham initially said he left with friends the night before.

I suspect her attorney saw the way the trial had gone and the fact she admitted pushing him ( claiming accident initially) and said do a deal you are gonna get found guilty, deal and we can work on a sentence.

OT-

A high school classmate of mine was murdered this past weekend. His name was David Bailey and he was father to a 7yo son. He got into a (apparently long brewing) verbal argument with his eventual killer Morrisette 'Settie' Leggett inside a bar. Leggett went to his car, retrieved a .38 and proceeded to shoot him 5 times, at least 2 of which were in the back, as he attempted to flee. Leggett then left the scene, leaving Bailey to die on the ice covered ground, while others attempted CPR. Leggett went to his parents home after the shooting to 'explain himself', and was transported to the police station by his father to turn himself in. He confessed to the murder, and told officers that he was aware that Bailey was unarmed during their confrontation, and also that he retreived the handgun from the glove box of his vehicle, then RETURNED to the bar to resume the confrontation.

Leggett, the CONFESSED murderer walked out of jail today on $50,000 bond, and onto house arrest with work privileges, while an ACCUSED child molester was given a $100, 000 bond just hours later. (I am not downplaying the significance of molestation, but you would think a confessed murderer would warrant at least the same bail as an 'accused' ANYTHING, right?!)

I am outraged, not only by the fact that a murderer is walking among us tonight, but also by the 100's of vocal SUPPORTERS of the confessed killer. Several people, who I consider friends, have blown my mind by arguing that 'Settie is a good guy', 'he's never been in trouble before', and my personal fav...'you can't judge a person by one mistake'. I feel like I am in the twilight zone!

Of course there are plenty more who feel the same as I do, but I can't get over how many people who I THOUGHT I knew, would like to see a murderer be allowed to simply 'get back to his life'...like nothing even happened! He murdered a father, son, brother, etc, in cold blood...he shot him in the BACK for crying out loud! There is actually a support page, and fund to, "help 'Settie' get out of this mess, or at least lessen his punishment" (quoting the site's creator).

He did the crime by his own admission, and he needs to do the time. He gets ZERO points from me for turning himself in, or not having a record. The guy was cruising around with a loaded gun, looking for a fight in a bar...he's not a good guy, or a church choir boy! LE is calling the argument that led to the murder 'domestic related'...meaning Bailey was dating his killer's 'baby momma', smh

It's such a pitiful waste Hobs. A little boy now has to grow up without his daddy, and BOTH families..the victim's and the killer's..are destroyed due to one selfish and cowardly act.

Dave was laid to rest on Sat, and his murderer was already out of jail, sitting at home with his family...that is NOT justice!
